Fantastic the way the whole fuselage was caught, perfectly focused, giving the real dimension of the huge acft that the A380 is...

I looked at this photo and knew right away it was from T.O. It seems that a lot of those shots that reach the top five viewed of the day, that are cropped wing fairing to wing fairing, head on, seem to be always taken in Toronto.

Having personally flown the 380 into Toronto, I couldn't help but notice all the photographers lining the road on short final waiting to catch "the perfect shot" of this beautifull aircraft.
It's thanks to you guys that this website is such a pleasure to visit.

What a nice catch! Thanks for the narration, that made me observe the reflections more carefully. You are right, this is such a massive machine. I am just amazed how little landing gear doors are open, this is really a very, very efficient design. I need to get down to the airport road sometime soon. I agree with the 747 comment. While it's truly amazing what Airbus did to get this thing built and flying, it is such an ugly looking thing lol. Maybe if they build a longer version it will change my opinion. For now though it just looks weird. Kind of like the 747SP lol.

For me, the best picture of the A380 at YYZ. It really shows and gives one the sense of the enormous size of this a/c!
