Brand new to the airline, 'Delta Lima' operates the Emirates 017 flight from Dubai to Manchester which, this week, has been transferred to an A380 service. The horses in the foreground were far less interested in the behemoth's arrival than the many spectators surrounding Manchester Airport's perimeter fences and waiting at the Runway Visitor Park. Touchdown on Runway 23R.

Congratulations to MAN and EK!! Question, aren't the horses behind the fence? would this be dangerous of them galloping to the runway?
Thanks for a great well framed photo!

The largest commercial airliner & the horses at Manchester! What's next? Great shot!

To the visitor wondering about horses and fences: looks like the telephoto effect fooled you! Five stars!

Excellent Photo. Both the new and the old mode of fast transportation in one frame and with easy access to the runway. Scary combo.
