The Emirates 3-4-3 plan on the 777 does not reduce comfort. The high sweeped ceilings give an illusion of extra space, and overall it feels a lot less cramped than the 2-4-2 configuration of their A340-500's.

It's not cramped. I've flown this bird as well and I had even a bit of knee space while at other airliners, my legs were touching the seat in front of me. And indeed, the ICE is superb.

Etihad rocks!!! 3-3-3 in a 777 is the best way to go!

Gives a great view of cabin, and very clearly shows quality of seats, their recline, screen size etc.

Isn't it a bit cramped in there? B777s generally have a 3-3-3 config. And very rarely a 2-5-2 config.
