The photo is well composed. The sky and the water balance, while yet being different. Their tones are different, and the water is in focus while the sky is not. There are five horizontal features, each with its own character, while the city is one of these horizontal features, the vertical aspect of the buildings adds a counter point to the horizontal theme. Despite the variety and interest of the context around it, the plane is the center of attention, in strong contrast with the rest of the picture. The plane is positioned just right, with more space before the nose than after the tail to give the plane somewhere to go in the picture.
