A visitor from Romania posted Thu March 3, 2011: WOW...this old bird is still flying!!!!! I remember visiting it for the first time in 1992 when I was a child (8-9 years old)and many more followed (I've spent most of my chuildhood summers next to YR-IMM, YR-IMZ, YR-ABB and other Romanian lovely old birds). His first reg was YR-IMZ and belonged to Romanian president/dictator Nicolae Ceausescu (registered as a Tarom aircraft) but not as his primary presidential plane for short-haul flights, primary was YR-IMM (cn 187009904) last seen flying in 2006, I think, for a Kazahstan airline. In 1991 this plane was "sold" to Romavia. Lovely to see you again old friend!! Mikhail, thank you so much for sharing this with us! Best whishes, Vali.
