VH-USU (cn SCA-28) Newly built Southern Cross Replica VH-USU toured Australia late 1987, fundraising for the Royal Flying Doctor Service (RFDS). [Replica First Registered 03Jun1987, First Flight Aug 1987]. The Australia and New Zealand (ANZ) Bank was the tour sponsor in Nov 1987. Since crash landing at Parafield 25May2002 (aircraft lost a main wheel on take-off) the dismantled airframe is now in storage at HARS Wollongong (WOL) NSW.
