VH-UBC Canada Aviation and Space Museum. The Shorthorn was designed and first flown in France. It was used by the air forces of Australia, Belgium, Britain, France, Italy, and Russia. This specific example was built in 1915-1916 and was one of four that was sent to Australia in 1916. In 1919 it was sold as surplus and stored until 1930. The aircraft was restored to flying condition in the 1950s. The museum purchased the aircraft in 1981. (Canon 40D + 17-55 IS)
