I actually think it works! Perhaps not the best out there, but there's something that clicks for me. It almost seems a little retro...

I thought this was only an interim livery? It looks very very ugly!

That is no new livery, that is buying an old aircraft and painting a logo and title on it. Sorry Finnair, but you totally failed!

One could not see the tail, othervise it would have got 5 stars.

The image is amazing though the livery is something else. It kinda reminds me of Adria though.

ARE YOU KIDDING?? is this really the new livery? it is AWFUL!!! seriously, what happens to all these airliners..!? look at the new Malaysia-paintsheme, look at the strange United-Continental mix, look at THIS!!! Its a pity what they are doing... 5 stars for the photo, 0 for the livery!

Awful design, no comparison to the old one!

Extreme Euro-white!! Is this helpful in case of an emergency for a country where there's a lot of snow?

Great photo but shame about that livery. finnair should definately go backwards. would not like to see that implemented over the whole fleet

That's a very nice picture with the snow and the lights, but I really prefer the old livery.

Hideous, boring, uncreative. What more can I say! They should've stuck to their current livery, much better and more colorful.
Regards from SAN.

Great photo considering the weather conditions ... but isn't this supposed to be just an 'interim' colourscheme?

How often they change the livery anyway?

Very nice picture.

Ladies and gentleman, this is how you take a decent livery and turn it into god awful.

There's to little love in this livery. The livery must come from your heart Finnair! :(
It will look more worse when the gonna compress this livery on a small ERJ och A320.

Fantastic photo - almost monochromatic in white and blue. As for the new livery, I disagree with the majority - it is crisp, clean, easily identified at a distance, and invokes the colors of Finland and her flag. What more could you want?

DARK BLUE = one UGLY color for airplanes. Maybe this one doesn't last 5 years, but the one it replaces isn't much better...

Finnair's livery up to the 1990s had a more pleasant blue tone and window line, and a much better logo & font.

First impression is not good. Hope these colours grow inside myself as time goes by.

5 star for the photo, but the livery is very flat and boring.it is not fit to an airline who wants to change the quality of the service to better standards.for me the airplane from outside gives me a cheap filling and i will do concider ,as i have to choose an airliner for my trip that the service inside may be is the same cheap.

At the moment I like the light-blue version more, It reminded me spring (march-april) when the snow is still on ground and the sky is already light blue and the sun is shining.

Ladies and gentlemen, this was an interim version! The final version, released two days later, has no f-letters on the cowlings and winglets. And you guys thought it could not get any worse!

This new livery makes me remember the PAN AM livery. I really don't know if it's good or not. It's just "different".

I don't find it great, but it's for the moment at least a bit more special than the previous one, and let's be honest, that was a fine, a decent livery, but not actually good,; it was just certainly a more conventional one. That said, this seems to fit in a trend of bigger fonts, compare, e.g. Virgin. And well I kind of appreciate this new livery, just cos it's more special... simplicity can be great... And indeed, reminds just a tad bit of Pan Am.
