OH-LFT (cn 46013/427) "Paavo Nurmi", delivered to Finnair on 27-01-69. Original registration was OH-LFR, it was re-registered OH-LFT, 04-1969. Aircraft was sold on 23-11-81 to L'Armee de L'Air (French Government, Military) reg. F-RAFG. It was converted to DC-8-72CF (CFM engines) on 06-1982. Finnair became a long haul carrier on 15-05-69 when two DC-8-62CF were put into service on the Helsinki-Copenhagen-New York route on a 6 weekly basis. Finnair operated a total of three DC-8-62CF, 46013, 46043 and 46130.
