When I see a photo like this it reminds me of all the magic, beauty and wonder that is flight. They say a picture says a thousand words and even one thousand words can't describe this picture. This reminds me of why I love aviation as much as i do. It makes me feel like a little kid again. This Picture is a work of art. Amazing Job Mikko this is magnificent.

This photo cannot illustrate any better why you do not want to fly immediately behind a plane like this with a much smaller airplane. Having a golden sun as the background is stunning in and of itself, but then the wingtip vortices add the ultimate icing on the cake! Even the angle of the shot makes this one special, especially seeing that the nose gear is about a couple of feet from the center line. This shot ranks in my top 5 for sure!

This photo is so beautiful, I had to comment again. You stare at this and think of the beauty and moment in time captured. It looks like a beautiful painting to me. Mikko, thanks for braving the cold and giving us this gem of a photo! There is not enough stars to be given for this shot. ***** Wayne C.

One thousand and five stars.
Nearly (if not) the best picture here.

This is perhaps the best photo I've seen on here, since viewing photos for many years. It's phenomenally complete; the landscape, lighting, atmospheric effects, and timing. Notice the snow to the sides of the runway (immediately behind the aircraft), follows the pattern of the visible vortices (from flaps) directly above. Fantastic, well done!
