 A visitor from - posted Sat November 5, 2011:This is an interesting photo. Have you noticed that ALL airport fire brigades practice on airplanes with the front gear missing. On the one hand, it provides the necessary "difficulty" - the foam floats forward making extinguishing engine fires harder. But on the other hand, it makes access into the airplane MUCH easier. I believe removing one of the main "legs" would make it much more realistic for them to practice. Just a thought. | |
