I think it's an outstanding photo, I also love the wide view thru the windows and the 'eyebrows'. But I think that you were recleared to 18C not from 18L but from 18R; I believe that landings on rwy 18L are prohibited, I've read so and also never seen it happen... maybe in very special circumstances it can happen but I don't know.
Also, it makes more sense since you are turning left here... if you go from 18L to 18C it would be more logical that you turn right.

The F/O is not about to disengage the autothrottle, he probably just rest is hand above the speed knob as he is reducing the speed..Really nice pic.

Amazing shot! People who commented before: I think the captain just used the ATC button on his yoke, that's why he has his hand on it.

Looks as if the captain is a bit too cautious. If I was flying the left seat here (where the 1st officer is hand-flying the aircraft), I wouldn't have my hand on the yoke. I would be ready to quickly intervene if necessary, but I wouldn't have my hand on it. A leader's goal should always be to instill and to build confidence in others (with safety always being the overall theme, of course).

The FO has the control anyway. He's got the more stable grip on the joke, his FD is master, his AP is engaged, and I think he's about to disengage the AT. In that case the strange thing is, that he does'nt disengage it on the throttle.

Absolutely fantastic. Everything is in focus and an exciting situation.

The shot is perfect but who is flying the plane? Both pilots have at least one hand on the yoke :-)
