At the present exists civil Serbian aerobatic team Flying Stars, flying with four G-2 Galeb. In 1984 former Yugoslavian team officially receiving this name and the J-1 Jastreb planes. In 1990 are replaced with new Yugoslavian SOKO G-4 Super Galeb planes. Year later the team is disbanded during war with Slovenia. Flying Stars are reformed again at the end of 1996 as a part of 172nd Air Brigade at Podgorica. In 1998 all Flying Stars planes are destroyed at Batainica airfield during NATO air attacks.

Great picture! Unfortunatly the pilot, Istvan Kazan, crashed in a airshow accident in Batajnica september 2008 flying the special Super Galeb. (1965-2008) RIP! :(
