N6921C / H (cn 4817) Whilst operating Military Air Transport Service (MATS) Charter flight 739/14 from Guam to Clark AFB, Philippine Islands on 15 March 1962 the aircraft went missing with the loss of all 107 on board. The crew of the SS TL Lenzen Supertanker reported seeing a mid-air explosion. The subsequent search covered 144000 sq miles using 48 aircraft and 8 surface vessels, but nothing was found. The cause of the crash remains a mystery.
