311 / 104-HD (cn 311) Exiting Runway 09 post sundown & after 46 Minutes of sheer Ecstacy in the back-seat is One of India's Top Defence Journalist & a friend of mine - Shiv Aroor, now also The First Indian Civilian to fly the Rafale! This Particular Dual-Seater 'B' Variant was Piloted by Dassault Test Pilot Dominique Sébastien who presented me his 'FRANCE' Patch post this flight. This particular aircraft is based at 01.007 Escadron 'Provence' St. Dizier. Aero India 2011.

This picture brings out the aerodynamic build of the aircraft. The head-on view seems almost perfectly aligned.

Then I'll say it without remorse for you: That is one beautiful aircraft! Though I'm German I hope India choses the Rafale so that we in Europe at least can keep Dassault as an Option and don't rely solely on Airbus/EADS.
