Remark Photographer
01 (cn 01) The Mirage IIIV was a Mirage III airframe powered by a SNECMA/Pratt & Whitney JTF10 turbofan and modified with addition of eight Rolls-Royce RB162-31 lift engines, to enable vertical take-offs and landings. This aircraft performed its first hovering trial in February 1965, made its initial transition to forward flight in March 1966 and later was flown supersonically. Now on display at the Musée de l'Air et de l'Espace.
