Remark Photographer
R158 / 61-ZX (cn 158) One of the few movements on the Saturday, this C-160 is seen departing from RIAT following the cancellation of the flying display. It is powered by the hugely-powerful 5,730shp Rolls Royce Tyne which powered the Belfast, Atlantique, G-222 and is characterized by a deep resonant sound when overhead. I first saw the C-160 at Farnborough in 1966. (400D; Sigma 80-400@105mm; fluid-head tripod; 125th sec exposure; stabilization switched off)(New to the database)
