Action packed photograph. I notice the strap used to launch the Super Etendard, is this the case for the other aircraft types as well?

I think they will laugh at you when you start about cosmetics... didn't know the Super Etendards were still Fench GI material, thought they were all gone in favor of the Rafales by now... Nice surprise

Interesting note is that the launch bridle falls into the ocean after every launch. Do not understand how this was worked into the design of this aircraft, but c'est la vie I suppose.
