PK-GIE (cn 46685/284) This Garuda DC-10 crashed at Fukuoka airport during aborted takeoff and burnt roughly 1600 ft after the end of the runway. Takeoff abort was initiated after mechanical failure of the center engine which destroyed the rudder. In the foreground is a huge piece ripped off from the left wing. All but 3 people escaped the fire.
