1024 (cn 434) The A310 Multi Role Tanker Transport (MRTT) is a military derivative of the Airbus A310 airliner, modified by EADS/Airbus. It is designed as a dual-role air refueling tanker and cargo transport aircraft with MEDEVAC unit too. The Luftwaffe converting four of their seven A-310s for MRTT version. The 10+24 is named "Otto Lilienthal" (German pioneer of human aviation who became known as the Glider King), operates by FBS BMVg (unit of airborne readiness of the Federal Ministry of Defence) based at Köln-Bonn airbase.
