Aircraft Taken at More: Germany - Air Force More: Messerschmitt Bf-109E-3 More: Off-Airport - Berlin More: Germany, September 16, 2005 Remark Photographer 1407 / 5 (cn 1407) Recent addition to the super Deutsches Technikmuseum in Berlin. A genuine original WWII Bf 109, delivered to the Luftwaffe on 28-Nov-1939 and used by II./JG 77 above Norway. Later in the war, she landed on a frozen lake in Norway, near the border with Russia's Kola Peninsula, then sunk as the ice melted. Recovered in 1993 and restored in Hungary.
