8307 (cn WG7) This heli of the German Army (Heer) in Niedermendig took part in a flying display on the occasion of an open-day of the British Army Air Corps. The H-21 (nickname "Flying Banana") was the predecessor of the CH-53G as a heavy transport helicopter in the German Army.

Look at those nice legs....on the helicopter I mean. I was speaking of the helicopter. The "Heer 83-oh-something"....whatever. Ah hem.

What an ugly twin-rotor! I love the people watching in the background and the period autos... looks like an NSU, Renault 4 van, Citroen Ami, Beetle and ?? Not sure about the brown car.
