Now preserved at the National Museum of the US Air Force, this Me-163 was built during World War II but was never flown. During restoration it was discovered that the construction was sabotaged with a stone wedged in the fuel supply and contaminated glue in the wings. French graffiti inside the aircraft skin revealed the intent of the imprisoned French workers forced to build these German aircraft during the War.
