Fitted with a 233 HP Renault 6Q-10A engine due to the intended German powerplants being no longer available, the manufacture of the Me 208 started under the control of the German Occupation Forces in 1944. The facility was the French NORD factory in the city of Les Muneaux. The Me 208 was a simple modification of the famous Me 108. The addition of tricycle landing gear and enlarging the cabin area were the most noticeable changes made. A/c preserved at Warbird Air Museum Valiant Air Command.
