Who said KAI TAK is closed???? We have our KAI TAK in Brasil, but with a 4000 feet rwy. It's more dangerous....

Amazing shot. Not sure how you took it. I would not have wanted to be on that plane landing at such a steep angle. I've done that before. Beautiful overall photo.

"turn left heading 350 and intercept the localizer for the ILS approach." I don't think so! This pilot got down and dirty with this amazing visual appraoch. I bet he remembered the days of his Cessna training. hehe

I would have loved to be in the design meeting for this airport... "okay we can have 2 4000 ft runways if we pave em side to side, or we could have an 8000 ft runway if we go end to end." "lets have 2 runways, more business that way..." wow. with my hate of sudden drops- i dont want to end up landing here!
