Mfr. 1945. John Lane's Airpower Unlimited and crew won the grand champion golden wrench award at Oshkosh 2010 with this airplane. Classic day today at SXM with several warbirds that were on an airshow held at St. Barths!!!

I've never seen a warbird coming into SXM! Superb! As spectacular is the widebodies in its own unique way!

Great Shot. It's always nice to see an old war bird.
And with the setting it reminds you of the war in the Pacific.

The angle of the aircraft, the reflected blue light on the underside from the water, the contrast. Could be a better composition, though. Kind of of balance to the right

Awesome!! I can't remember if that's the Corsair I saw them roll out of the hangar in Jerome, Idaho a couple years ago or not. Airpower Unlimited does some crazy cool stuff.

Great Shot! Oh wait, we're not supposed to write that are we :)

This is a beautiful photo. Of course, it has an F-4 in it, so that is a great start. I really like the off-center arrangement - gives a sense of movement. Also conveys the vastness of the ocean.

Well done!

If I didn't know where this was landing, I could imagine a landing at Midway Island around 1942.
