'Aleutian Goose', the world's only Grumman Goose powered by Garrett turbines. Originally built as a US Navy JRF-5 (BuNo 37819) in 1944. In 1974 partially converted by FWS to become the first G-21F, but the project was not finished. It remained a hybrid G-21A, with a lengthened cabin and turboprops. Although the aircraft was on the FAA register as a "McKinnon G-21G", the conversion was done by USW&FS. Sadly w/o when it crashed at Al Ain (UAE) on Feb 27, 2011.
