Remark Photographer
NR1050 (cn 355) This plane was built for the Gulf Oil Company and delivered in December 1936. It was flown in air shows from 1936 - 1948 by the head of Gulf's Aviation Department. On October 11 1948 it was flown to Washington National Airport where it was officially decommissioned and donated to the Smithsonian Institution. Shown here at the Udvar-Hazy Annex on display with a much newer, much faster plane in the background!
