Guy America Airways was the first non stop flight from Jfk International to Georgetown Guyana South America
Founded by Anthony Tirri former Panam Pilot , Attorney at Law Rex Mckay Esq.]

Rozanna Beaumont owner Acadia world of Travel, specialized in the Guyana Market.

GAA had a few minor share holders.

GAA was grounded by the FAA, for violations (such as claimed by the authorities for flying 6 flights from Puerto Rico to Havana
carrying the Panamerican olympic group) 3 engine take off, passenger claimed there were no seat belt in his seat , etc,

GAA NEVER HAD AN INCIDENT OR ACCIDENT .
FINANCIAL ISSUES WERE CREATED BY COLLUSION, AND REPRESENTATIVE BY LEGAL COUNCIL

It was a Corporate take over by 3 investors who used their Financial ability to create the grounding of the Airline, and later sold the aircraft for millions and made a handsome profit.

The founder and President Anthony Tirri was blacklisted from the Airline Industry.
Their greed destroyed a much needed service to thiis third world Country. Guyana

I was the Secretary of the corporation, Senior Executive Vice President Sales and Marketing. I was forced to signed all the legal documents for the sales of the aircraft.
Anthony Tirri enabled George Batchelor to continue the service to Guyana, i was appointed their Marketing and Interline Director, The late Azeez Ali stayed on as Manager at the airport.
we were the Guyanese Connection. Arrow air had a crash and was grounded.
Many others followed such as Tropical Airways , Suncoast etc.
GAA started a charter service December 13,1980 and received Schedule rights in May 1981 , the airline was growing in leaps and bounds. GAA flew two offical Presidental flights for the then PNC government. 1. late President LFS Burnham and his Ministers to the Royal Wedding of Princess Diana and late President Hoyte. I was privileged to act in the capacity as the Liaison between the Presidents and GAA Cheif Pilot Peter Vanwyck.
GAA during it's operation helped many Guyanese People to uplift their lives, such at the Symphony Orchestra by bringing them to New York and tourned them tthrough Us and Canada to promote Steel band music.
Thanks for the opportunity for sharing some information, hopefully this may clear up the incorrect information , i have been reading.
TO BE CONTINUED.
