The dark sky, the sunlit aircraft, the unique Constellation attitude and shape make this a very arresting picture. Well done.

Great photo in all respects. Well framed, good overall focus, lighting and exposure. It shows the aircraft at its best, as it was in its heyday. It was a one of a kind airliner.

Gorgeous pic! I was at Avalon that day and saw 'Connie' cruise gracefully overhead, though I didn't make it to the runway in time to get this shot. It was a very wet and grey day, but the dramatic skies made a great backdrop for this elegant aircraft.

The weather makes an amazing dramatic photo, very nice! Good job

This photo brings back tremendous memories of the second flight I ever was on in my life and the first I remember: Real Aerovias Super Constellation L1049 from Sao Paulo Cumbica to Chicago, July 1958. I clearly remember the sight of the wing tip tanks and the explanation from my uncle that that's what allowed the plane to make it all the way to Belem after a stop in Rio, without refueling

I have about 500 hrs. on Connies. The picture brought back pleasant memories

The nice details of this landing airplane, the extended underwinglights, very large tires all against a darkening sky

The great Connie upon the great dramatic background!

Very nice! Love the contrast of the Connie against the dark sky. Fantastic! Really shows off the beautiful lines of this old classic.
