Remark Photographer
EC-JOH (cn 731) 09/11/2007, this A346 dashed out of the runway during the landing in a heavy rain. No people were hurt, just the plane. No one knows when she can go back to the sky!

IMHO, this jet will not fly again. Just look at the bad shape it is in. All in all, this shot is very impressive.

What is it with pilots, A340 and heavy rain. First AF @ YYZ and now this mishap. At least Iberia will get to see her fly again. All safe thank goodness.

Great angle

A visitor from Turkey posted Wed November 14, 2007:
You can see three photos of this 340's in water. But unfortunately this time she is not lucky.I'm afraid she cannot back the skies.

A visitor from Malaysia posted Wed November 14, 2007:
Me too. From this angle, you can actually notice the last emergency exits are a bit higher than the rest.

A visitor from United States posted Tue November 13, 2007:
Its a shame...this aircraft is going to be totalled...there is alot of damage done to this. Right away those engines have to be replaced, along with the leading edge of the wing, possible flap system, and of course the nose gear assembly. I will be surprised if this aircraft flies again. PS. Please use spell check when writing captions.

A visitor from United States posted Mon November 12, 2007:
Fortunately, there was no one hurt, but this bird is going to be scrapped.

A visitor from Spain posted Mon November 12, 2007:
It looks incredibly long from that perspective. I hope it can be repaired.

A visitor from Mexico posted Mon November 12, 2007:
Great everyone is O.K. And I just hope this bird is still airworthy. T.B.
