50 cm from a tail strike ? Looking at the door size, I´d say at least one meter.
Maybe shorter opening time would have been better, but otherwise a very good pic.

The space till tail strike is better than you might think, and for this reason Airbus installed a anti tailstrike system in their fly by wire, so the pilot on the ground will only have a certain angle of attack fully preventing a tailstrike.
