This is a fantastic picture!
I am a person who tends to look at pictures slanted from the head, and this is absolutely one of them. Not only does it fit my style, but also, it shows the difference between old and new, because you don't see a lot of DC-8s out there nowadays.
Fantastic job!

One of the best DC-8 shots on a.net! The February-snow helped lighting the lower fuselage. Very well done!

The plain white background let's you focus entirely on the DC-8 itself, with it's lower metal surfaces gleaming from February snow covered ground below. Ace !

It`s amazing to see the clean quality of this picture, considering that it was taken in the late 1960`s. What a nice bird! Too bad, DC-8`s are not seen very often, nowadays.

Great shot! What a shame that this aircraft crashed into the sea off Las Palmas, Gran Canaria in 1972. Fortunately, it was a ferry flight to pick up passengers bound for Hamburg, Germany. The death toll was "just" the crew of 10. Cause of the crash is unknown.
