A visitor from United States posted Sat March 17, 2007: I can't get over how tail-heavy this airplane looks! The wing is positioned so far forward, in comparison to the original Il-18, and it looks off balance. I suppose all of the electronic equipment in the forward part of the aircraft adds quite a bit of weight. Nice capture, and interesting addition above the cockpit. I've never seen that before.
