A visitor from United States posted Tue February 24, 2009: Nice catch! The leveling mechanism on the landing gear as such is not related to the aircraft's hydraulics system, rather it appears to be a blown centering cylinder or snubber on the left MLG itself. Good capture. Jaysen - Wichita, KS
