This aircraft started life as USAAF 44-70504. After delivery to Israel in 1949, it served first in the Air Force and then on the civil register as 4X-ARS. Now on display in the Air Force Museum, in rather bad shape. [Canon PowerShot A20]

More history:After withdrawn from use, this plane was used as some kind of statue at MIS'EDET HA'TAYASIM (The pilots resturant, in hebrew) near the city of Netanya. The resturant owners added some strange pieces to the A/C so it was look like a chopper.
