343-19 / A (cn 5128) One of only four remaining examples of Kawanishi N1K2 Shiden Kai 'George' fighter. Probably the best Japanese fighter design of World War II, the aircraft's performance was formidable, as evidenceed by Warrant Office Kinsuke Muto of the 343rd Kokutai in February 1945. In a lone encounter with twelve F6F Hellcats, he shot down four before the others broke off combat to run for safety.
