Japan 62 Alpha heavy is seen approaching taxiway Echo for departure runway 24L routing LAX-MIA(fuel)-GIG. First flight was October 1, 1968. Delivery date was November 11, 1968. Built as DC-8-62, cvt'd to DC-8-62(F) freighter in July 1988. Other serials - N731PL with Interstate Als & ATI, EC-217 with Cargosur, EC-EMD with Cygnus Air & Cargosur, and also 9Q-CJH & 3X-GEN with Trans Air Cargo. Wears FN 35 with Japan Air Lines. Temporary storage as EC-EMD at MAD in 2007. Stored at JNB as 9Q-CJH. See CV-440?
