JA8051 (cn 46152/550) JAL is not a scheduled airline in Melbourne so this diversion from Sydney was welcome. 4 years after this photo was taken, on 27 Sep 1977, the aircraft crashed on approach to Kuala Lumpur during a thunderstorm.
