The curved blades of this GE90 have been inducted into the Smithsonian. A true piece of industrial art!

Not only is this engine a true piece of art that is impressive both when it comes to performance and looks - it is beautifully captured here, crisp and clear. I love the closeup, with the feeling you lean into the huge engine!

Its no wonder why these engines are sooo expensive, they are true works of art. Great shot!

Excellent angle for the huge GE90! Really brings out the beauty and detail of the graceful curves of the blades! No wonder those blades even made it to New York's Museum of Modern Art!

At first, the perspective made me think it was a lift-fan for F-35 JSF .. WOW!

Tim ,
I thought photo id 1206705 was the ultimate GE-90 picture, but this one is coming very close too!

Precision is paramount in just about every facet of aviation. See how close those fan blades come to the body of the engine itself? One scrape, and that thing would be in pieces.

I didn't realize the GE90 was visible in the Smithsonian (Air and Space museum, I'm guessing)? I'll have to check it out.

Love the shot. Look at how little space there is between the blades and the cowling.

One of my favourite shots.
