N183JB (cn 19000007) The money, gas, and time I spent to get this plane. You all have no idea. I drove around that airport at least 5 times starting to go home and give up. Thank goodness no cops were around because I wasn't always going the speed limit either when I would return to the spot to get it. Finally, right as I made my 5th attempt to get it, it got airborn and I got this shot of it climbing out. This made my day. Thanks to Brian Futterman. [Canon 300D]

Beautiful plane, I saw this plane for the first time last night at jkf only a (delta connection).
Went looking for it at airliners.net and found it!!
Looks like a Aibus!! Is jet Blue still buying Airbus?? They still are the best!!

A visitor from United States posted Thu December 22, 2005:
Sharp, sharp photo catches angle of attack, raising landing gear and all set against that leaden sky.

I was on the delivery ceremony, on Embraer's headquarters, just a week before the Jet Blue's incident.
This airplane is really beautiful!

Best regards from Brazil!

A visitor from Canada posted Sat October 22, 2005:
Cool shot. I dont know why David ordered these things but in his book "Flying High", I know he doesnt like Boeing. Apparently, David did wanted the 737 at start but Boeing walked away from the deal because Boeing wanted more money. Airbus was more flexable. I suspect the ERJ-190 has a lower purchase and operating costs than the A320 or even the A318?
I wonder how it compares to the CRJ-70?
