ST-ARN (cn 8346010) On June 27th, 2008, this ST-ARN crashed near Malakal on its way from Khartoum to Juba. Seven crew members were killed and one survived. Its sister, the ST-JUA, crashed at KRT on Nov 8th, 2007. After the accident, the -ARN was kept grounded pending the investigation. Here it is standing on the ramp of KRT, at the end of a hot afternoon in March 2007. In the background, a 707 of Sudanese States Aviation and two unknown Il-76.
