PH-BXP / XP-402 (cn 29600/924) The 737-900 is rare in Europe, but here we have as many as 3 of them (out of a total of 5) parked at the D gates. There is still some cleaning work and baggage loading to be done on BXP before it will be ready for pushback like the two in the background.

Congrats, 5 stars here.
to respond to all your questions, the first and third are in the old livery, while the second is in the new one, the dirty under the K on the rudder is caused by some little leak of oil that the rudder moving system use, bye! KLM671 (avcivile.it)

KLM jets have long been favorites of mine. The 737-9K2s captured by the photographer in this shot look absolutely gorgeous set against Amsterdam's Schipol at night (or the wee hours of the morning) the way they are. The photographer managed to capture all of the excitement, romance, and beauty of "being at the airport"!

A visitor from Russian Federation posted Wed January 18, 2006:

Nice shot!

A visitor from United States posted Wed December 28, 2005:
The 737-900 looks rather long for those twin wheel main gears, doesn't it? It looks as though if they put one bag too many in the rear hold, it'll tilt backwards. Incidentally, I always thought Amsterdam was famous for its red lights... it looks very blue here ...

A visitor from United Kingdom posted Wed December 28, 2005:
Wow. this night shot at amsterdam caught my eye straight away. The blue klm 737's set the picture and go very well with the blue tint comming from the terminal windows. the whole picture is crystal clear and the exposure spot on! cracking shot, 5 stars from me.

A visitor from United States posted Tue December 27, 2005:

A visitor from Netherlands posted Mon December 26, 2005:
The beautiful blue KLM-colors are stunning!!! It's worth 5 stars for sure.
And the second plane is the NEW livery and not the old livery. The other two are in the old painting scheme.
The new painting scheme has a very small darkblue stripe under the windows.
I think the new painting scheme is much more beautiful!!

A visitor from Mexico posted Mon December 26, 2005:
I don´t know about you guys but i think the old livery looks better than the new one.

A visitor from Netherlands posted Mon December 26, 2005:
Great shot indeed. But in my opinion the second one is in the new livery and the first end the third are in the old livery. Whatever it still is a beautiful picture.

A visitor from Netherlands posted Mon December 26, 2005:
Love it! Always so magical how the colour changes from bright blue to this kinda great blue colour.

A visitor from Netherlands Antilles posted Mon December 26, 2005:

WOW, this shot looks so sharp, it makes KLM look so good on it. Great Shot

A visitor from United Kingdom posted Sun December 25, 2005:
Really nice photo.

Why is it that on each aircraft, the lower rudder is so dirty in the same place [under the K on the tail]??!

A visitor from Poland posted Sun December 25, 2005:
Come to WAW/EPWA please

A visitor from United States posted Sun December 25, 2005:
I love the 737-900 because it is rare and just an overall beautiful plane! The detail of this picture is awesome, such as the boarding area in the background and the sleek looking jetways! KLM has such a clean and attractive livery.

It makes a difference to see 737-900's rather than the usually 737-800's and 700's. I think that KLM have 1 of the best liveries as blue is my favourite colour!

A visitor from United States posted Sun December 25, 2005:
Wow! beautiful photo! love the airport, aircraft, and airline. The quality is really good as well. Just to ask, why is the Skyteam sticker behind the title on the first and third plane, while in front of the title on the middle plane?

A visitor from Argentina posted Sun December 25, 2005:
Although I don't like the last series from Boeing for being just large tubes and looking similar among them I give 4 Stars to this pic because of KLM. And please to Boeing & Airbus we want diversity with the future projects! ;)
