Spool Turbo!.. Why don't they install KERS on these Machines. 250 to 300 Kg of tyres at this speed (250Knots) has a few 100KW energy stored.

KERS are not installed, because once the tyres are in the air as the go up to get stored in the landing gear compartment, they must be stopped from spinning for stopping vibration due to little unbalanced
