A visitor from United States posted Wed May 22, 2013: The funny thing is this beauty looks brand new. Look at the front landing gear, the wheels look so clean and pure white. The overall livery looks perfect. What a sad way for this proud Douglas to go out. It is fitting that the last flight across the Atlantic would be a revenue flight. Like all great Douglas aircraft, this MD-11 is a workhorse to the very end.
