Remark Photographer
PH-BFP / FP-034 (cn 26374/992) After a few hours delay the big blue bird finally showed. I was already on my way home when my colleague called to say that it was 10 minutes out. I raced back and was luckily still in time to catch it. This photo was taken at the lowest point of the whole low-approach procedure. Every once in a while we get a KLM 747 for a low-approach is part of testing their ILS systems after maintenance. I think a tall person would've been able to touch the main landing gear with his bare hands if he would reach out.
