A visitor from - posted Mon February 27, 2012: Nice shot of a landing gear configuration that is not seen during daily use. A free fall (emergency)landing gear test must have been performed before this touch and go. In such a case the doors stay open until the gear is being retracted again.

A visitor from - posted Mon February 27, 2012: When I see those landing gear doors opened, I think the landing gear was already selected up at the time they touched the runway! Touching the runway was not intentional and they were very lucky that they didn't touch with the tail instead. This was close to be a disaster!!!!

A visitor from United Kingdom posted Sun February 26, 2012: Great action photo. The open gear doors are because they have to test the gravity drop after maintenance. The KLM Asia mod clearly consisted of painting over the 'crown' on KLM (as can be seen from the blue splodge) and sticking 'Asia' titles underneath!
