Arrival of the DC-2 "Uiver", which is bought by the Aviodome and is the last flying DC-2 in the world. The real Uiver won the London-Melbourne handicap race in 1934, but crashed in Syria a few months later. In the summer of 1999 this aircraft, painted as the 1934 Uiver, flew from Lexington (SC) via Goose Bay, Keflavik and Kinloss (UK) to the Netherlands.
