Aircraft parked in Melbourne due to an industrial strike in Sydney. Note a BOAC VC-10 togather with QF 747's. On 27 March 1977 this aircraft, as Flight 4805, collided with Pan Am 747-121 N736PA on the runway at Tenerife, Canary Island, with the loss of 583 lives. Still the worlds worst aviation disaster.

An incredible shot. My home country, with the plane that caused the worlds worst aircraft collision.
Saddening, but still amazing.
