Enjoying a nice flight on board of this aparently freshly overhauled MD-11, a look out of the window made me at first a little frightened - then impressed, when I watched this Boeing 747-400 of Japan Air Lines passing by above. It happened somewhere near the US-Canadian border.

This is definitely in my top 3 favorites of all time. What a perfect combination of events: clean A/C (winglet and window), perfect weather and light, and JAL 747-400 blasting by!! Thanks

Nice timing, you don't get to see two wide body jets crossing paths everyday. Almost perfect composition. It would've been better to wait for the JAL jet to fly further from the wingtip and apply the rule of thirds but still an awesome shot :D
